Ferenc Turi has over 40 years of professional experience in various sectors of the aviation industry. He has held senior roles including Director of the Chicago Region of MALÉV and Director of Commercial and Marketing. He subsequently served as Managing Partner at the consultancy Roland Berger. He has recently provided strategic advice on several significant aviation projects, including the Budapest Airport acquisition.
Gábor Menráth
Chief Air Traffic Operations Officer, Deputy CEO
He has been working as an air traffic controller at HungaroControl and its legal predecessor since 1988.
From 2008 to 2011, he served as a Head of the Aviation Training and Documentation Department, which is mainly entitled to organize trainings for professional staff. After the establishment of the Entry Point Central Air Navigation Academy, a joint venture of HungaroControl and the Swedish Entry Point North, he became its first managing director.
In 2017, he was assigned to lead the Terminal Control Department, which position he held until his appointment as Deputy CEO of ATM. He is still an active air traffic controller.
Dr. Zoltán Kovács
Chief Technology Officer, Deputy CEO
Dr. Zoltán Kovács joined HungaroControl in 2024 and has more than 25 years of management experience.
During his professional career, he has worked for public and international infocommunications companies such as NISZ National Infocommunications Service Provider Ltd. and Vodafone Hungary Zrt. He holds a degree in electrical engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Budapest University of Technology, a degree in engineering and economics from the Budapest University of Economics and a PhD from the National University of Public Service.
Benedek Fluck
Chief Human Resources Officer, Deputy CEO
Benedek Fluck has more than 25 years of senior management experience in the field of human resources, working mainly in the automotive and energy sectors in domestic and international companies.
In addition to HR management, he has been actively involved in the leadership of fields such as internal communication, environmental protection, work and health safety, asset management and procurement, and has also worked as a senior management consultant.
Dr. Bettina Bognár
Chief Legal Officer, Deputy CEO
Dr. Bettina Katalin Bognár joined HungaroControl in 2024 with more than 12 years of international, English and EU legal experience. During her professional career, she has gained valuable experience serving as EMEA Head of Payments Negotiations Legal at JP Morgan Chase Bank in London, where she was responsible for leading cash management negotiations covering the EMEA region. Prior to her service at JP Morgan Chase Bank, she worked for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. She is a qualified lawyer in Hungarian and English law.
