Hungary's official drone application is gaining traction

Budapest, April 14, 2021 – Over the last three months, more than six thousand people have downloaded Hungary's official drone application: mydronespace. The application developed by HungaroControl for drone pilots guarantees the safe movement of unmanned aircraft.

In accordance with Hungarian regulations relating to drone operations, HungaroControl made the free mobile application available from 1 January 2021.

Mydronespace promotes regular and safe drone operations by informing users in real-time about the current state of Hungarian airspace and about areas prohibited or restricted for unmanned aerial vehicles. HungaroControl also supports drone pilots with the mydronespace.hu website, which provides information on the mobile application and airspace use, as well as a series of videos to help users learn how to use the platform.
